Businessman Vows To 'Beat' Mahama

Ernest Kwaku Kobeah, a 43-year-old businessman from Ghana who resides in the United Kingdom, has announced his intention to run in the opposition NDC presidential primary.

In advance of the 2024 elections, Mr. Kobeah declared he will defeat former president John Mahama, who is expected to win the NDC presidential primary.

Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, a former finance minister and tycoon, has also been working hard to guide the party into the 2024 presidential elections, but Mr. Kobeah claims he will spring a surprise.

He is sure that if Ghanaians gave him the go-ahead, he would use his knowledge of sanitation, building, and security to the country's advantage.

He will be able to lead the NDC.

Even though Ghana has had various regimes between 1992 till the present, according to him, the needs of the populace have not been satisfied.

He claimed that both national and local economic factors contributed to governments' inability to keep their commitments.

According to Mr. Kobeah, he thinks he has a greater chance of defeating Mr. Mahama given his more than 20 years of residence in the UK and his knowledge of the building industry. 


The businessman went on to say that his company, City Expert, which is a major player in the UK's sewage construction system, has helped to create a good sanitation environment in the country. He added that his company has been used to win construction contracts from the UK Government because of its excellent delivery.

His business, City Expert Group, has constructed a number of skyscrapers in the UK.

He asserts that he is prepared to push Ghana to reach UK-level development.
